This small wild peppercorn comes from Nepal. It grows spontaneously in the Mahabharat mountain range, in a humid region, at an altitude of more than 2000 metres. Slightly spicy, this pepper can be surprising with its zesty flavours and astonishing citrus notes. It will perfectly enhance fish, crustaceans, vegetables and fruits (citrus or pineapple salads) and chocolate desserts.

Delicious! Delicate and almost citrusy, with a spicy, numbing finish. Very unusual.

It is a wonderfully different pepper. My smaller Peugeot pepper mill is always filled with Timut. The two jars of Timut that I ordered are for friends that will enjoy this wonderful treat.

This stuff doesn’t even smell good and tasted even worse. Love my grinder though
We are sorry you were not pleased with your experience with the Timut peppercorns. It is a unique, fragrant variety with a citrus profile. Our most popular peppercorn variety, with a more common scent is Tan Hoi; it is the peppercorn Peugeot mills are partially filled with at our factory.
