Homemade Appetizer (and Pepper) Board

Ingredients:

  • Cucumber
  • Three different cheeses of your choice – however, we highly recommend Comté cheese
  • Breadsticks
  • Olive oil crackers
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Radishes
  • Cashew nuts
  • Almonds
  • Ham, cut into thin slices
  • Blinis (recipe – https://www.healthyfoodcreation.fr/blinis-saumon-kiwis/)
  • For the spreads:

    For the guacamole:

    • 1 perfectly ripe avocado
    • ½ lemon
    • Fresh red chili pepper
    • Salt
    • Pepper (your chosen variety using the Maestro mill)

    Blend or use a fork to crush the avocado, lemon juice, chili pepper and salt. Let your guests help themselves to pepper using the Maestro mill with Voatsiperifery or Sikara pepper, or the Kampot Red pepper. Possibilities are endless!

    For the tzatziki:

    • 200 g Greek yoghurt
    • ¼ cucumber
    • Sprig of chives
    • Dill (as required)
    • Salt
    • Pepper (your chosen variety using the Maestro mill)

    Cut the cucumber into small cubes. Chop the chives and dill. Combine with the Greek yoghurt and season with salt. Let your guests help themselves to pepper using the Maestro mill.

    For the humus:

    • 250 g tinned chickpeas
    • 1 tbsp tahini
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • ½ lemon
    • 60 ml sesame oil
    • Salt
    • Pepper (your chosen variety using the Maestro mill)

    Drain the chickpeas and blend with the garlic, tahini, lemon juice, oil and salt. Add some water to loosen the humus. Let your guests help themselves to the pepper with the Maestro mill.
