Jenn’s Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp protein powder
  • 1/4 c. Honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c. old fashioned oats 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 4 oz Dates, seed removed (soak in warm water 10 minutes)- use 2 tbsp of the hot water to help with texture
  • 2 tbsp ground Flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp Hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds

Preparation:

  1. Soak dates in boiling water for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Add peanut butter, protein powder, honey, vanilla, oats, cinnamon, flaxseed, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and dates (drained-but save the water) to a food processor.  Add 2 tbsp of the hot water from the dates.
  3. Puree until mix is as smooth as you can get it.  This took about 3-4 rounds of pureeing.  Add a little more water from the dates as needed to help the mix come together and become smooth.
  4. Using a 2tsp scoop, scoop dough out and roll between your hands to form a ball.  
  5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. 
  6. Makes 38 Bliss Balls
