Jenn’s Peanut Butter Bliss Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 c. Creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbsp protein powder
- 1/4 c. Honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c. old fashioned oats
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 oz Dates, seed removed (soak in warm water 10 minutes)- use 2 tbsp of the hot water to help with texture
- 2 tbsp ground Flaxseed
- 1 tbsp Hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp Chia seeds
Preparation:
- Soak dates in boiling water for 10 minutes. Set aside.
- Add peanut butter, protein powder, honey, vanilla, oats, cinnamon, flaxseed, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and dates (drained-but save the water) to a food processor. Add 2 tbsp of the hot water from the dates.
- Puree until mix is as smooth as you can get it. This took about 3-4 rounds of pureeing. Add a little more water from the dates as needed to help the mix come together and become smooth.
- Using a 2tsp scoop, scoop dough out and roll between your hands to form a ball.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
