    This local salt comes from the marshes in Guérande and is harvested by hand according to traditional methods. It can be used for seasoning dishes before serving and enhancing flavours during cooking. It will subtly enhance the taste of all your culinary creations. This wet salt is perfectly suited to salt mills equipped with Peugeot's wet salt mechanisms but due to its consistency and humidity level, should not be ground in a conventional salt mill.

    We buy this salt all the time. I can’t imagine my life without it. The flavor is perfect for everything and doesn’t taste as basic as regular salt.

    I love the wet salt. Its flavor is distinct yet subtle. My food always tastes better with the wet salt from Peugeot. When I ran out recently i had to use regular kosher salt in a dish I was cooking and it didn’t taste the same as when I made it one week before with Sel de Guérande. Everyone could notice the subtle difference. I won’t go back to supermarket salt again..
